Easy Spring Rainbow Craft
Honestly, I don’t do a lot of crafts. I’m a high-efficiency, low-time wasting, get-a-lot-of-reps in kind of SLP. All the cutting, gluing, glitter exploding, cleaning up just sort of makes me cringe. However, when it is VERY purposeful and allows a lot of speech & language, I’ll participate…a little.
I LOVE my Dice & Dot for Speech and Language resources. They are no prep + high rep… did you get that rhyme?
Anyway, I wanted to think of ways to expand these resources BEYOND just the dotting and coloring. A little fine motor work never hurts either.

I’m SO ready for spring and rainbows make me happy.
Grab your favorite Astrobright card stock, a 1 inch hole punch (Michael’s or Hobby Lobby), the Battle Style Dice & Dot, then download the cute cloud freebie below! *any Dice & Dot will do – you may need to shrink the printing size. The Battle Style Dice and Dot prints exactly 1 inch circles and fits on the strips and under the cloud perfectly.
Rainbow Speech Craft Directions:

-colored card stock strips: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple
-1 inch circle punch (WAY easier than cutting circles)
-scissors and glue stick
Cut out “My Speech Is Bright” cloud
Punch out Dice & Dot words (great fine motor work for kids)
Cut strips of colored card stock, place in rainbow order and tape or glue to the back of the cloud
Glue dots of words on the rainbow strips as you practice!
