There are so many great fall-themed books out there about the leaves changing color and falling to the ground. I chose 3 of them to dig deeper into for these fall book companions for your speech therapy sessions. These print-and-go lesson plans were created to make implementing literacy-based speech therapy more simple and enjoyable for you and your students this fall.

Fletcher and the Falling Leaves by Julia Rawlinson- Fletcher does everything possible to try and help his favorite tree as it loses its leaves. This story will tug on your heart strings as well as give your students a sweet illustration of how trees change from fall to winter.

The Golden Acorn by Katy Hudson- This book is part of a series about a group of forest friends. Your students will enjoy this book as they learn about the importance of teamwork and friendships.
