Flip Flop Summer Craft in Speech Therapy!

Are you enjoying the Dice & Dot crafts?  These both use the dots from the Battle Style Dice and Dot resource in my TpT store. I’m all for a quick craft as long as it has therapy goals embedded. Do you feel the same?

Do you do crafts in speech therapy? This one is minimal prep and something you could hang up on a bulletin board. “Walking Into Summer” or “We Flip For Speech” – You could also send it home as a gift to parents. I had beginning of summer in mind but someone commented on my Instagram post that it would also be perfect for a beginning of school/goodbye to summer activity! My whole goal is to help share ideas to get more out of the resources you already have. I know SO many of you have the Dice and Dot products, so this will get you a bit more mileage!

This uses the Battle Style Dice and Dot resource in my TpT store (download a freebie in the preview)- have students punch out the dots. *Yes! You can use the other Dice and Dot resources, you just need This is great fine motor work for little hands! I use this 1 inch circle punch.

Easy Craft Directions:

Print out the flip flop pages (I like using colored card stock) and cut around it. *tip: if cutting lines aren’t perfect, use a black Sharpie marker to clean up edges!

Next, have students glue dots on the flip flops as they practice their articulation words MORE while making the craft!

*tip: use a glue stick on the flip flops, NOT on the 1 inch dots – less mess on the table!
